During my time at the University of Connecticut's Design Center Studio, a professional graphic design studio within a dedicated design environment, I worked on this particular project that allowed me to refine my skills in logo design and offered insights into adapting designs for potential larger-scale productions.
Process
I aimed for a circular design for the logo to give it a cohesive look. The text alone felt too plain, so I chose the handshake icon to symbolize the union of AAUP and AFT. Additionally, I used the blue color to represent the University of Connecticut.
